DIRECTIONS AND ENTRY TO CHEZ COURTY
The apartment building is located on the left bank of the Seine River in the 7th arrondissement at the corner of 1
rue de Courty and boulevard Sain-Germain No 237.. The building is located directly across from one of the entrances to the
Assemble Nationale metro stop. There is a bus stop as well as a velo libre (rental bike) station on the opposite side of rue
de Courty. The pont de la Concorde and the Seine River are a short walk-2 blocks north on boulevard Saint Germain. Rue
de Courty is perpendicular to rue de Universite and boulevard Saint Germain and a few steps from where rue de Lille intersects
with boulevard St Germain. The Musee d'Orsay is 2 blocks east on rue de Lille. The apartment is also a 10 minute walk
from the Air France autobus terminal at the Invalides (walkd down rue de Universite).
Chez Courty is a multi-functional
duplex which can be configured in 3 ways. There is a one-bedroom apartment on the 6th floor. There is a fully-furnished
studio above it on the 7th floor,the highest point of the building. The studio has a separate entry on the 6th floor with
a short staircase from the 6th floor to the 7th floor. There are also interior doors in the 1 bedroom apartment which
allow it to be connected to the studio entry hall thereby creating a 2 bedroom/2 bathrroom pied-a-terre.
The
first floor of 1 rue de Courty is the second physical floor with the entry floor being called the Rez de Chaussez. The building
with its large porte cochere doors requires an entrance code which will be provided to you. Upon entering the code the door
will unlock. Proceed through the port cochere up the 2 steps to the glass double doors. This door remains locked as well and
requires a key or code which you will be given. The small elevator is available to take you and your luggage to the 5th floor.
It is advised that you always accompany your luggage because if left alone and jostled your luggage may cause the inner folding
door of the elevator to become stuck . You would then not be able to open the elevator door once it arrived on the fifth floor.
Upon arriving on the 5th floor turn right and proceed up the short flight of wooden stairs to the 6th floor landing,
turn left . The Sixth Floor apartment’s front door is located on the left. The entry to the Seventh Floor studio is
on the right. You will need a key which will be provided to you to unlock the apartment door. Please use the key to lock the
door once you have entered the apartment. There is an intercom in the apartment and the studio that will allow you to
open the front door for others.
